Lean Six Sigma White Belt introduces the foundational ideas behind process improvement, quality management, waste reduction, and data-informed decision-making.

It provides an introductory understanding of how organizations examine and improve the processes through which work is completed.

I took this certification to understand engineering from a wider organizational perspective. Building a technically correct system is important, but professional engineering also depends on reliable processes, consistent quality, efficient use of resources, and continuous improvement.

I wanted an introductory framework for understanding how industrial organizations identify inefficiencies and improve the way work is performed.
